Thanks to your promotional ED pack I was able to regain some of the vigor that I had when I was in my twenties. I like that my privacy is always respected and I don't have to feel embarrassed when I pick up my parcels. Our sexual activity has seen a slow but sure decline since I was first diagnosed with ED a few years ago.

Salbutamol Extended Release tablet

What is it used for?

SALBUTAMOL is a bronchodilator. It helps to open up the airways in your lungs to make it easier to breathe. This medicine is used for the treatment  and prevention of bronchospasm.

What should I tell my health care providers before I take this medicine?

They need to know if you have any of the following conditions:

  • diabetes
  • heart disease or irregular heartbeat
  • high blood pressure
  • pheochromocytoma
  • seizures
  • thyroid disease
  • an unusual or allergic reaction to albuterol, levalbuterol, sulfites, other medicines, foods, dyes, or preservatives
  • pregnant or trying to get pregnant
  • breast-feeding

How is this medicine should be taken?

Take this medicine orally, following the directions on the prescription label. If this medicine upsets your stomach, take it with food or milk. Do not crush or chew extended-release tablets. You shouldn’t take it more often than directed.

Contact your pediatrician regarding the use of this medicine by children. Special care might be necessary.

Overdosage: If you suspect an overdosage, get in touch with the nearest poison control center or emergency room immediately.

NOTE: This medicine is only intended for your use. You should never share it with the others.

What to do if I missed a dose?

If you missed a dose, it should be taken as soon as possible. If the time has almost come for the next dose, only that one should be taken. You should never take double or extra doses; a single doze is sufficient for the purposes.

What are the possible interactions with other medicine/food/etc?

  • anti-infectives like chloroquine and pentamidine
  • caffeine
  • cisapride
  • diuretics
  • medicines for colds
  • medicines for depression or for emotional or psychotic conditions
  • medicines for weight loss including some herbal products
  • methadone
  • some antibiotics like clarithromycin, erythromycin, levofloxacin, and linezolid
  • some heart medicines
  • steroid hormones like dexamethasone, cortisone, hydrocortisone
  • theophylline
  • thyroid hormones

This list is not all-inclusive and may not describe all possible interactions. Give your health care provider a list of all the medicines, herbs, non-prescription drugs, or dietary supplements you are using. Also tell them if you smoke, drink alcohol, or use illegal drugs. Some of those items may also interact with your medicine.

Does this medicine have any possible side effects?

The following side effects should be reported to your doctor or health care professional as soon as they are noticed:

  • allergic reactions like skin rashes, itching or hives,face, lips, or tongue swelling
  • issues with breathing
  • chest pains
  • feeling faint or lightheaded, falls
  • high blood pressure
  • irregular heartbeat
  • fever
  • muscle cramps or weakness
  • pain, tingling, numbness in the hands or feet
  • vomiting

The side effects listed below usually do not necessarily require any medical attention (please do report them to your physician if they are recurrent or bothersome):

  • cough
  • diarrhea

  • fast heartbeat
  • headache
  • nervousness, trembling
  • stuffy or runny nose
  • upset stomach

Other side effects are also possible, the above list is not all inclusive. Call your doctor for medical advice about the side effects.

Is there anything I should pay attention to while taking it?

Let your doctor or health care professional know if there is no improvement to your symptoms. Do not take extra doses.

If your asthma or bronchitis get worse while you are using this medicine, call your doctor right away.

If your mouth gets dry try chewing sugarless gum or sucking a sugar candy. Drink water as directed.

Where should I keep this medicine?

Keep this medicine out of the children’s reach.

Store albuterol tablets in the refrigerator (36 to 46 degrees F). Other tablets might be stored at the room temperature (59 to 86 degrees F), check the packaging or ask your pharmacist. Keep container closed tightly. Dispose of any unused medicine after the expiry date is reached.
